✦ The Vedic Hybrid Course

Most people don't fail at meditation. They fail at the format.

Apps, YouTube and ten-minute guided tracks were never built to teach you a skill. Vedic meditation is. Learn it properly over five days, with a live one-to-one to start, three teaching sessions delivered to your inbox, and a final one-to-one you book when it suits you, usually a week or two later, to lock it in for life.

If this sounds familiar

You've tried this before. It didn't stick. You assumed that was your fault.

You downloaded the apps. You followed along with the headphones in. You sat through the guided tracks and waited to feel the thing everyone talks about. Some of it worked for a few weeks. None of it lasted.

Here is what nobody told you:

  • A guided meditation is content. You consume it. The minute the voice stops, so does the practice.
  • A breath-focused meditation is concentration. It works, but it asks the part of your mind that's already exhausted to do more work.
  • Vedic meditation is a skill. Once you have it, you keep it. No app. No headphones. No subscription.

The problem was never your discipline. The problem was that you were handed content, when what you needed was a technique.

How this is different

There are three kinds of meditation. You've probably only tried two of them.

Most people don't realise the meditation world is split into categories. Confusing one for another is why so many people quit thinking they're broken.

01

Concentration

Focusing on the breath, a candle, a body scan. It works, but it requires effort, and effort is the one thing a tired mind doesn't have.

02

Contemplation

Guided journeys, visualisations, voices in your headphones. Useful, but you stay dependent on the content. The teacher is in your ear, not in your nervous system.

03

Effortless Transcendence

What you'll learn here. A personal mantra used so lightly your mind settles on its own, without force. Twenty minutes, twice a day. The skill is yours forever.

What we teach
Sam teaching a live group
Why I teach this

I'm not a wellness influencer. I'm a former joiner who got his life back.

At sixteen I left school and trained as a joiner. For six years I built furniture, windows and staircases with my hands. Then I went to university, and chronic fatigue syndrome arrived and stayed for eight years. I dragged myself through school, through a corporate job, through every doctor who treated symptoms but couldn't touch the cause. Nothing worked.

Then a friend suggested meditation. I had no other options. Eighteen months of daily Vedic practice did what eight years of medicine couldn't. The fatigue lifted. I could think again. I could feel again. Then the rest followed, including the woman who became my wife.

I trained as a teacher because when something pulls you back from the edge, you don't keep it to yourself. That's the entire reason this course exists. It isn't a wellness product. It's the skill that gave me my life back, taught the way it was taught to me.

The structure

Five sessions. Five days. A skill that stays with you for life.

The hybrid format is deliberate. Personal teaching at the start to get you set up properly. Three recorded teaching sessions delivered to your inbox across the five days, each one yours to watch whenever it suits you. Then a final one-to-one, booked when it suits you and usually a week or two later, to integrate everything and answer the questions only experience can raise.

01

Personal Initiation

A private session where I teach you the technique itself. You'll receive your personal mantra and learn exactly how to use it. By the end you'll have everything you need to begin a daily practice.

05

Personal Integration

Our second one-to-one, booked when it suits you, usually a week or two after you start. You'll bring your direct experience of daily practice, and I'll answer the questions that only show up once you've done the work, then set you up for the rest of your life with the skill.

One-to-one

I'd rather you didn't sign up than sign up for the wrong reasons. Here's the truth.

This is for you if

  • You've tried apps and YouTube and nothing has held
  • You're high-functioning on the outside but quietly burnt out underneath
  • You sleep badly, react too quickly, or carry a low hum of stress you can't switch off
  • You want a real technique, not another subscription
  • You're willing to commit to twenty minutes, twice a day, as a daily habit
  • You'd rather invest once in a lifetime skill than rent peace by the month

This isn't for you if

  • You're hoping a five-day course will fix something thirty years in the making, without your daily participation
  • You want guided audio you can press play on and zone out to
  • You aren't willing to protect forty minutes a day for the duration
  • You're shopping for spiritual decoration rather than actual change

I tried guided meditation with apps and videos, but I just didn't get it and thought it wasn't for me. Sam demonstrated the benefits of Vedic meditation without being pushy. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Honest Answers

The questions everyone asks before they decide.

I can't switch off my mind. Won't I be terrible at this?

Good. Then it's definitely for you. The goal isn't a quiet mind. The goal is to let your mind settle on its own using a technique that works with the way thinking actually happens, not against it. If you've ever been told to "stop thinking" during meditation, you already know that doesn't work. This is different. You don't fight the mind. You give it something effortless to settle on, and it does the rest.

How is this different from the meditation app I've already tried?

Almost every meditation app teaches guided meditation, which is content you consume. The moment the voice stops, the practice stops. Vedic meditation is a skill you keep. After this course, you sit down, close your eyes, use your mantra, and your mind knows what to do. No app required. Ever.

What's the actual time commitment?

Twenty minutes, twice a day. Once in the morning, once in the late afternoon or early evening. That's roughly three per cent of your day. The course itself runs over five days: a live one-to-one to begin, then three short recorded sessions delivered to your inbox. The final one-to-one you book when it suits you, usually a week or two later.

I've heard Vedic meditation needs a mantra. Where does mine come from?

In your first one-to-one I give you a personal mantra, taught the way it was taught to me by my own teacher. The mantra isn't the destination. It's the vehicle that carries your mind into a settled state. You'll learn exactly how to use it. After that, it's yours.

What if I can't keep up with the sessions?

The three teaching sessions are pre-recorded and arrive in your inbox with a link, so there's nothing to miss. Watch them whenever it suits you and return to them as often as you like. Only the two one-to-ones are live, and those are scheduled directly with you and rescheduled if life happens.

Is this religious?

No. Vedic meditation is a technique, not a belief system. It comes from an ancient tradition, but you don't have to adopt anything. You learn the skill, you use it twice a day, your nervous system does the work. Bring whatever you believe with you. Nothing changes about that.

What if it doesn't work for me?

It works for everyone who practises consistently. That's not a marketing claim, it's how the technique is built. The variable isn't whether the practice works. The variable is whether you do it. If you commit to twenty minutes twice a day, you will feel the shift. If you don't, no course in the world will help.

When you feel safe inside, everything outside starts to change.

This is the skill that does it. Not another app. Not another subscription. A technique you'll have for the rest of your life.
